• Laser and static electricity principles and technology are what underpins image creation with these types of laser printer cartridges. Static charges are formed on the drum inside from a set of transformer coronas. A laser is then used to discharge the invisible areas of the image job which then leaves behind an electrostatic image of the desired print. The charged drum then attracts the toner particles onto its surface where the charges are present. Then paper moves between the drum and the toner roller, these particles of the toner then get applied to the paper through a reverse change being applied to the paper by another set of coronas. The sheet now moves to the heating element so that the toner particles get melted on the paper. This leads to locking in a vivid and smudge-free image.
