8-Port Gigabit Switch DGS-1008A is part of a new series of devices for SOHO companies from D-Link, which use a technology called D-Link Green, providing energy savings, reduced heat emission and a longer product life without sacrificing performance or functionality. Energy-saving power adapter (-certified Energy Star Level V), to minimize the use of hazardous substances (compliance directive RoHS) and recyclable packaging is environmentally friendly this switch.

8-Port Gigabit Switch DGS-1008A provides automatic saving energy in several ways. With the automatic power off if the connection ports are saving a significant amount of energy on inactive ports or ports connected to the computer is off.
Protecting the environment
8-Port Gigabit Switch DGS-1008A is designed with consideration of the environment and complies with Energy Star Level V, as well as compulsory regulations CEC and MEPS, which prescribe the use of energy efficient power adapters. Also, the switch is designed in accordance with RoHS standards to minimize the use of hazardous materials and recycle used packaging that helps reduce waste, following the provisions of Directive WEEE.
